About Noah Berry

Noah Berry, ACMHC (He/Him)

Therapist

Being human is inherently difficult. Pain, confusion, and feeling stuck are natural parts of our shared experience. When our go-to strategies stop working and the path forward becomes unclear, deciding to start therapy is a courageous act of self-compassion. Our work together will provide you with a dedicated space to reflect, grow, and build a life aligned with who you authentically want to be.

Depending on what you would like to focus on, our work can be highly practical, profoundly deep, or a combination of both. My foundational approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means if you are looking for tools you can use right away, we can focus on actionable skills that help you relate to unwanted thoughts and feelings in a new way, freeing you to move toward the life you want. I also draw on psychodynamic and depth-oriented approaches. If you are interested in deeper exploration, we can work together to uncover how past experiences have shaped your current patterns. We can also take both approaches, building a practical foundation to create forward momentum today, and then exploring your past to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself over time.

While I welcome anyone who feels drawn to work with me, I frequently support those experiencing anxiety (such as generalized or social anxiety), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), low self-esteem, people-pleasing or challenges with assertiveness, depression, faith transitions, and existential concerns around meaning and purpose.

On a personal level, I maintain a meditation practice to integrate the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into my own life. I view therapy as a collaboration between fellow travelers navigating the human experience, so I am practicing these skills right alongside you. If it feels like we would be a good fit, please reach out—I look forward to getting started.
