I think all styles of talk therapy have the potential to serve any open and willing person well.  With that being said, I believe that there are underlying issues to every presenting problem.  I feel that if we can explore the root causes, we may be able to eradicate not only the presenting problem(s), but also explore and gain awareness into deep-seated patterns and behaviors, which often promotes more lasting change. 

My preferred way of working is from Psychodynamic perspective with a focus on Attachment Theory.  I have been trained in other treatment approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which I often utilize when the treatment calls for it.
