Our office is contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield, DMBA, EMI, PEHP, Select Health, Huntsman and University of Utah Health Plans. Due to some insurance constraints outside of our control, not all of our clinicians are able to bill as an in network provider with all of the aforementioned plans. Be sure to ask about insurance or note your insurance when scheduling or submitting a therapy inquiry for a new patient appointment. You can also see what insurances each therapist is in network with on the team page.

Disclaimer: Our billing department will do an insurance benefit check as a courtesy to you if you provide us with the necessary information to do so prior to your initial appointment and any time your insurance changes while you are a patient of record. What we are quoted by your carrier is never a guarantee of payment. We have no control over whether or not your insurance makes a mistake in quoting us your benefit information. If insurance pays differently than what was quoted to us or not at all, the balance is due from the patient. We recommend that all prospective patients should be aware of their mental health coverage and benefit information. Couples therapy is sometimes not covered at all by insurance or only a portion is covered. Please inquire more for details.

Our intake/assessment fee is $160 for individual therapy and $180 for couples therapy.

If you cancel without giving a full 24 hours notice, or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the appointment. Your therapist will wait 15 minutes from the start of the scheduled appointment start time and if you do not arrive by that point, the appointment will be considered a no-show. Your insurance provider cannot be billed in this circumstance.
Yes, most of our therapists offer a combination of telehealth and in person options, while others offer only telehealth sessions. Our telehealth sessions are conducted using a user-friendly HIPAA compliant computer software. Your therapist can help assist you in logging on for the first session if needed.
Yes we do. Annette Ephroni, Psychiatric APRN sees medication management clients via telehealth. Annette can see people that do not attend therapy at MVC for psychiatric medication management in addition to MVC therapy clients. Annette is trained in psychedelic assisted psychotherapies and does the ketamine prescribing and medically oversees the KAP program at MVC. Unfortunately, we do not offer prescriptions for opiates, methadone or suboxone.
We do accept CVR funding at our clinic. You will need official approval and proof of that approval from the Utah office for Victims of Crime. Additionally, they require that if you have private insurance, that we bill that first. Generally people are approved for between 15 and 25 sessions.

We currently have one physical location. We have moved and to a new location right by our old South Jordan office. Our new South Jordan office is located at 10434 S. 1055 W. Suite 101. We occupy the entire main level of this building. There is parking located all around the building. We have signage on the main exterior doors for the space as well as the exterior of the building that hopefully makes it easy to find.
