How new age therapies re-brand psychoanalytic concepts that have been around since Freud

  How Freud’s ideas show up in new age contemporary therapy modalities Sigmund Freud, often regarded as the father of psychoanalysis, is a figure whose contributions to psychology and psychotherapy have been both revolutionary and controversial. Psychoanalysis really works.

Old school therapy is evidence-based treatment.  The new age solution focused treatments used to say they were the only evidence-based treatments.  We have found that to be false.  Further more, long term and deeper work that requires insight leaves people with more lasting change.
